Our cabinet member, Majid Mahmood, was contacted this morning. At first he didn’t answer, and now he texts and says he deals directly with the managers. But here’s the ground reality: the vulnerable and the elderly have been forgotten, so we’ve had to step in and do the very job the council should be doing.

Residents are paying more, yet receiving less.
